BIOGRAPHY

I was born in Wolfsberg, a small town in Carinthia, Austria, as daughter of a Spanish family of artists (a.o.: mother: Marga Sacher-Santana, www.sacher-santana.at) and Austrian family of doctors (4th generation). In 1988 I moved to Vienna, where I studied medicine at the University of Vienna and sculpting with Professor Karl Sukopp. After having finished various professional trainings which brought me also to Ulm, Germany for four years and after having travelled to many countries throughout Europe, North and South America, Australia and Africa, most often for several months, I moved back to Austria in 2004. I am married and I am a mother of two, a boy and a girl. Now I live in the south of Austria, in Grafenstein, in a 130 year old farmhouse. There I can devote my whole creative energy to transforming my experiences, thoughts, ideas and observations into sculptures.
